The Department of Paediatrics & Neonatology at Heritage Hospital comprises of an expert team under the supervision of Dr. G.P. Sapkota (One and only Critical Care Expert in entire North Bengal). Paediatrics & Neonatology team comprise of Paediatrician, Neonatologist, Paediatric Neurologist and Paediatric Surgeon.
We also have a visiting consultant, Dr .Nurul Islam, Consultant- Paediatric Cardiologist, MD (Paed), FNB (Paediatric Cardiology), Sr. Consultant Interventional Paediatric Cardiology
The department comprises of world class Level III NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit ) with advanced neonatal ventilation facilities for high frequency ventilation, total parental nutrition facility, cranial ultrasound, bedside echo cardiograph , monitors, infant warmers, infusion pump and provides facilities to manage a wide range of neonatal health problems in neonates. There is also separate PICU (Paediatric Intensive Care Unit) with advanced Paediatric ventilators & state – of – the – art monitoring facilities to manage a wide range of health problems in children.
